3 sticks pepperoni gound up (10 inch sticks approx)
20 Green Peppers
2 Red Bell Peppers (Sweet)
3 Hot or Mild Banana Peppers (your choice we used hot ones)
8 green tomatoes
8 red tomatoes
3 bunches celery
1 bunch endive (optional)
1 can tomatoe paste
Mushrooms (Totally optional)
1 qt. oil
salt and pepper to taste
(can be done when served)
Grind all peppers, celery, onions and optional mushrooms and endive.
Add tomatoe paste and oil.
Add in ground meat.
Cook 1-1/2 hours stirring occasionally.
Pack into hot jars and give hot bath for 1 hr. or freeze in plastic bags, your choice.
Serve over a good Italian or French bread.
