Ingredients:
  • 6 lbs gound beef
  • 3 lbs gound pork
  • 3 sticks pepperoni gound up (10 inch sticks approx)
  • 20 Green Peppers
  • 2 Red Bell Peppers (Sweet)
  • 3 Hot or Mild Banana Peppers (your choice we used hot ones)
  • 8 Onions
  • 8 green tomatoes
  • 8 red tomatoes
  • 3 bunches celery
  • 1 bunch endive (optional)
  • 1 can tomatoe paste
  • Mushrooms (Totally optional)
  • 1 qt. oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • (can be done when served)

  • Steps:
  • Grind all peppers, celery, onions and optional mushrooms and endive.
  • Add tomatoe paste and oil.
  • Add in ground meat.
  • Cook 1-1/2 hours stirring occasionally.
  • Pack into hot jars and give hot bath for 1 hr. or freeze in plastic bags, your choice.
  • Serve over a good Italian or French bread.
